Good News

Thanks again for all you prayers. God has blessed us. Jacob arrived in SF and has our visa/passports in hand. He is currently on his way back to the airport. It looks like we will be able to leave tomorrow on schedule. The other families we are traveling with should get their visas tomorrow morning. God blesses us more than we can ask. Not only was the ticket free but Jacob meet a man on the plane who offered to share a taxi downtown with him. When Jacob went to split the fare with him he declined and insisted on giving Jacob more than enough to pay for that cab, a decent tip and part of the cab to get back to the airport. I don't know why we have to go through these trials but God has been walking us through. Thanks for your prayers they are moving mountains.

The Saga Continues

Yesterday evening we received word that our visas did not get sent out like they were supposed to. Flights are very scarce right now so although we could try to reschedule our flight that might not happen or would cost too much. A good friend in our care cell offered us his free ticket to fly to San Fransisco to personally pick up our visas today. Jacob is currently waiting at the airport to board the flight. We don't know for sure that he can get the visas when he gets there but our caseworker felt like it was a good possibility that he would be able to. Then Jacob will get back at midnight so we can leave tomorrow at 8:40am. It is ironic since last time we were told to get visas they came with a day to spare which turned out we didn't need them. Now we need them and they will come a day too late. I am not sure why Jacob has to fly across country today but I am grateful God provided a way to do that by giving us a very generous friend. Please continue to pray that God would work out the details. We really need the rest of the paperwork to go smoothly.
